24 hours Bavaria - Zero One Film Berlin

24h Bayern - Ein Tag Heimat is an extraordinary BR documentary that shows life in Bavaria on a single day in real time. On 3 June 2016, 104 camera teams accompanied people from different walks of life to paint a multi-layered picture of the Free State of Bavaria. Südkino was involved in the project as the largest camera service provider and took over the organisation and implementation of 17 camera teams for Zero One Film. We provided both the technical equipment and the personnel and helped to ensure smooth coordination on location. With our experience, we made a significant contribution to the successful realisation of this cinematic contemporary document.

Stars in the ring - Zirkus Krone - for mach2media Cologne

Stars in der Manege is a traditional TV show in which celebrities demonstrate their skills in the circus ring. For the new edition on Sat.1, Südkino was commissioned by the Cologne-based production company Mach2Media to realise the backstage stories, the rehearsals of the stars and the interviews. Südkino was responsible for the entire technical organisation. From the lighting of the backstage area to the design of the interview settings and the often quite spontaneous scheduling of the camera teams. The nightly data transfer to the editing department in Cologne ensured a smooth in-time post-production.

    TerraX “Darwin's Secret”

In 1829, at the end of the inhabited world, a ludicrous story takes place that becomes the catalyst for events that change the world. It begins with the theft of the British survey boat HMS Beagle by the natives of Tierra del Fuego. For IspiraTV - Gengenbach we took over the filming organisation/location scouting/casting for TerraX “Darwin's Secret” (including reenactments at Sylvensteinsee in Bavaria). We also organised the camera department and the post-production. We also shot in England and Tierra del Fuego, Chile.
