Twelve-year-old Lilli tells the story of her visits to her sick grandfather. He has had Alzheimer's for nine years and is forgetting more and more. Lilli's grandfather used to be a horn player, and Lilli also has a passion for music. Occasionally, she plays a little tune on the trumpet for him and is happy when Grandpa listens attentively. These are moving moments for her and her mother. And then, Lilli and her family have to say goodbye to their beloved grandfather.
